It’s been 15 months since we last saw Evloev, defeating Aljamain Sterling at UFC 310 in back in Dec. 2024 via unanimous decision to improve his undefeated record (19-0, 9-0 UFC). The No. 1-ranked fighter at 145 pounds should have received a title shot by now (more on that here), but UFC matchmakers opted to give Diego Lopes another go at the strap (which he lost), for whatever reason. Nevertheless, Evloev is ready to cement his status as the next contender for Alexander Volkanovski’s belt (or not). Evloev has proved his worth more times than not thanks to his great pace and grappling, though the knock on him is that he has failed to secure a stoppage win so far inside the Octagon despite a seven-year tenure. Indeed, his suffocating grappling is a powerful tool that has helped him get to where he is today, and now he is one more win away from his first-ever UFC title fight.
As for Murphy, he is also eyeing his first shot at a UFC world strap on the heels of his spectacular knockout win over Aaron Pico (see it again here). Murphy is also undefeated (17-0-1, 8-0-1 UFC), which is good enough to put him to put him at No. 3 at 145 pounds. The brawling Brit will have the hometown crowd rooting for him, but he will have his work cut out for him if he wants to be the first to stop Evloev (liver shot?); however, the same could be said for his Russian foe. This is one of those rare fights where two top-ranked, undefeated fighters go at it to see who takes the next big step in their respective careers. Evloev will obviously try to keep it on the ground as much as he can, while Murphy aims to let it all hang out on the feet for as long as he can before he goes for a ride to the canvas. There is a lot on the line in this fight, so fight fans can expect a hard-nosed, competitive contest.
Original Card Vs. Actual Card/Injuries
A Heavyweight bout between Mick Parkin vs. Mario Pinto was scheduled for this event before Parkin was forced to withdraw for undisclosed reasons. He was ultimately replaced by promotional newcomer, Felipe Franco. Also, Luana Carolina came in a whopping eight pounds over weight for her Bantamweight bout against Melissa Mullins, resulting in the bout getting scrapped after weigh ins.
New Blood:
The aforementioned Franco will look to make the most of his opportunity after filling in for Parkin against Pinto. Franco is 10-1 as a professional with all of his wins coming by way of stoppage. He’s an exciting prospect with potential to make an impact in a hurry, but Pinto — who is undefeated (11-0, 2-0 UFC) — isn’t ready to roll over for anyone.
Meanwhile, Shanelle Dyer came up short in her fight on Contender Series, but she is still getting an opportunity to impress on the big stage when she makes her official Octagon debut against Ravena Oliveira, who is winless (0-2) in her UFC career.
Mantas Kondratavicius earned his way into a UFC contract with an impressive first round technical knockout win on Contender Series, and now is out to prove his worth. He will face off against Antonio Trocoli, who has been nothing short of a disappointment so far inside the Octagon, losing all three of his fights via stoppage.
Losene Keita is riding a five-fight win streak into his UFC debut, locking horns with Nathaniel Wood. It’s an odd pairing to say the least for Wood, who is a 13-fight UFC veteran with a record of 10-3. This seems like a high-risk, low-reward fight for “The Last Kingsman.”
Kurtis Campbell will get the chance to make his UFC debut in front of his home fans as the bruising British brawler — who is also undefeated (8-0) — faces off against Danny Silva. Campbell is a product of Contender Series. As for Silva, he came up short in his UFC debut after losing to rising star, Kevin Vallejos, back in Aug. 2025.
How The ‘Prelims’ Look:
Two surging Lightweights will throw down in undercard action as Mason Jones vs. Axel Sola collide in what should be a fun fight. Jones is currently riding a six-fight win streak and is perfect (2-0) thus far inside the Octagon since making his return to the promotion after getting cut three years ago. As for Sola, he is also undefeated (11-0-1) getting off on the right foot in his UFC career by defeating Rhys McKee via technical knockout in his promotional debut six months ago.
Brando Perecic impressed in his UFC debut, knocking out Elisha Ellison in the first round in Sept. 2025, his third straight win. The same cannot be said for Louie Sutherland, who was submitted by Valter Walker in the opening frame in his promotional debut (see it again here). Now, “The Vanilla Gorilla” is out to secure his first-ever win inside the Octagon at the expense of Perecic.
Both Shaqueme Rock and Abdul-Kareem Al-Salwedy came up short in their respective UFC debuts, and now one of these men will get their first UFC win, while the other will drop to 0-2 inside the Octagon when they throw down in a Lightweight bout.
Who Needs A Win Badly:
It took the aforementioned Trocoli several canceled attempts before he eventually made his UFC debut in June 2024; however, he has been unable to showoff the skills that many expected to see from him. He was stopped by Sharabutdin Magomedov in his debut (see it), and then went on to lose his next two against Tresean Gore and Mansur Abdul-Malik. Now, he is in a must-win situation against a newcomer. That’s because if he loses to Kondratavicius, he could be out of the promotion.
Interest Level: 5.5/10
Riley vs. Aswell doesn’t exactly scream co-main event, but here we are. Still, Riley and Aswell will look to make the most of their co-headlining duties. Riley is undefeated (12-0), making a quick impression in his UFC debut by scoring a first round technical knockout win over Bogdan Grad back in Nov. 2025, his third straight stoppage win. As for Aswell, he stumbled out of the gates by losing his UFC debut via unanimous decision to Bolaji Oki, but bounced back in a nice way by stopping Lucas Almeida in the first round five months later.
Michael Page has not been happy with his lack of activity since signing with UFC back in March 2024, competing just four times (and going 3-1 in the process). His last fight was in Aug. 2025, so he is itching to get back into the swing of things against Sam Patterson. This was a bit of a head-scratcher because Page has faced some rather stiff competition in his first four fights, and now gets a man who isn’t close to the rankings. Patterson, however, is on a four-fight win streak and is out to tame “Venom” by pulling off the huge upset. A loss for Page would be devastating here, but a win likely won’t shoot him further up the rankings.
Austen Lane has been unable to find much success inside the Octagon, racking up an awful record of 1-4-1, including losing his last two. He will look to get back on track when he battles Iwo Baraniewski, who is currently undefeated (7-0), including winning his UFC debut thanks to a first round knockout win over Ibo Aslan.
Roman Dolidze saw his three-fight win streak go up in smoke after coming up short against Anthony Hernandez in his last fight, his first defeat in two years. Now, “The Caucasian” eyes a trip back to the winner’s circle when he battles Christian Leroy Duncan, who is on a three-fight win streak and is coming off a highlight-reel knockout over Marco Trulio (see it).
Enjoy the fights!
