Three UCF women’s soccer players received All-Midwest Region honors from United Soccer Coaches this week: Forward Liz Worden was selected to the Second Team, midfielder Honoka Hamano was named to the Third
Team and forward Rajanah Reed earned a spot on the Fourth Team. These are the first regional honors for all three players.
UCF concluded the 2025 season with a 12-4-5 record and a 5-1-5 conference mark, qualifying for its 23rd NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship. The Knights advanced to the second round before falling to Duke.
Worden led UCF with 24 points, finishing with seven goals and a team-high 10 assists — the program’s most assists in a season since 2014. She also led the team in total shots with 56 and appeared in all 21 matches this season.
The selection follows Worden’s First Team All-Big 12 recognition last month.
Hamano recorded career-best numbers with four goals, six assists and 14 points. She also set personal highs in shot percentage, shots on goal and recorded three game-winning goals.
Hamano appeared in all 21 matches, starting for 19, and contributed to five goals or assists in the final seven games of the season.
Reed led the Knights with eight goals, including six game-winners, and added three assists. She set career highs with 53 shots, 30 shots on goal and 1,302 minutes played.
Reed recorded seven goals or assists over UCF’s final eight matches and was previously named Second Team All-Big 12.
The UCF women’s soccer team finished the 2025 season with a 12–4–5 overall record and a 5–1–5 mark in conference play.
As the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship, the Knights defeated Maine in the first round before their season ended with a 1–0 loss to Duke in the second round.
