According to a report from Fußball News journalist Vjekoslav Keskic
, Bayern Munich center-back Kim Min-jae is getting interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Juventus, and AC Milan:Min-jae Kim’s future at FC Bayern could become a topic of discussion again in the coming months. According to information from fussball-news.de, four top European clubs are interested in the 29-year-old central defender. Besides Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, Juventus Turin and AC Milan are also monitoring his
situation in Munich.
There are currently no concrete negotiations. Neither FC Bayern nor the player has reportedly received an official offer yet. However, interested parties are closely monitoring Kim’s role under Vincent Kompany and Bayern’s long-term plans for him.
Interest remains particularly strong from England. Tottenham and Aston Villa have the South Korean international on their radar and see him as a potential defensive reinforcement due to his physicality and experience.
Kim is also very well known in Italy. In the 2022/23 season, he was one of SSC Napoli’s key players on their way to the Italian championship. Juventus and Milan are therefore closely monitoring whether an opportunity arises for a return to Serie A.
Kim has asserted himself nicely into the No. 3 role at center-back and played really well so far this season. However, he is not a starter at this stage and could also fetch a nice transfer fee, which could at least make Bayern Munich think about a sale. With a contract that expires in 2028, next summer would be the time to make a sale if that is the plan. It should be noted that there are also rumors that Bayern Munich could also extend the contract of the big Korean.
The 29-year-old came to Bayern Munich in 2023 for a fee of €50 million.
