The news around Will Levis has been surprisingly quiet since he was cut by the Tennessee Titans. While Levis is certainly not ready to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, he has a lot of the tools needed for success. It really surprises me that their is not a coach in the league that thinks he can turn Levis into a solid QB.
Today, it was reported that the New York Jets brought Levis is for a workout. Zack Rosenblatt said it would be for a spot of the practice squad. Of course, the Jets play the Titans
in week one. The Jets could simply be having him in to get intel on the Titans. We see teams around the league to that all the time.
As of this writing, the Jets have not signed Levis. It would surprise me if Levis goes this whole season without landing with a team.
The Titans selected Levis with the 33rd pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. He threw for 3,899 yards with 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 21 career games with the Titans.
