Which Bayern Munich player has the most to prove as the season restarts?
The international break is almost over, and Bayern Munich is about to enter another important stretch of the season. With Bundesliga, Champions League, and DFB-Pokal action all ahead, there is no shortage of opportunities for players to make their case.
But who needs to make the biggest statement?
Could it be Serge Gnabry, who will want to build on his strong start and prove he can remain a consistent difference-maker? Or Kim Min-jae,
who faces enormous expectations every time he steps onto the pitch in a crowded center-back group alongside Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah?
Maybe Hiroki Itō needs to show that he can stay healthy and become a dependable option on the backline, while Josip Stanišić will be looking to maintain his importance in Kompany’s plans.
Then there is Jonas Urbig, who is being groomed as Bayern’s future No. 1 and has already received valuable first-team experience this season.
Or perhaps it is someone like Tom Bischof, Aleksandar Pavlović, Nathaniel Brown, or Lennart Karl, who will be competing for opportunities in a talented squad.
Who has the most to prove after the break — and why?
