Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Royals fans and fans across the country.
The trade deadline has passed and with it, most any reason to follow the Royals for the remainder of the year. They don’t have any high-level prospects to get excited about seeing, so it’s mostly going to be about trudging through the muck of the final third of the season and hoping to spot some diamonds in the rough.
Before we get there, though,
we should take some time to look at how the Royals did at the trade deadline. We’ve got writeups of each of the trades individually, and Matthew Lamar wrote up some individual grades for the trades as well, so give those a look and then come back here and vote for how you think the Royals did overall. Keeping in mind that even if each individual trade looks good, you might still grade them poorly for not making very many of them.
