What is the story about?
The Dallas Mavericks have reportedly signed former Portland Trail Blazers guard Dalano Banton to a training camp deal. Banton played 97 games for the Blazers over the last two seasons after being acquired from the Boston Celtics in the Summer of 2023.
Banton was crowded out of a new-look Portland backcourt that includes guards Jrue Holiday and Damian Lillard, both acquired over the summer. Banton is an unrestricted free agent, able to sign with any team he chooses.
