Herbert Hainer has offered a strong endorsement of Bayern Munich’s latest acquisitions, Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown, highlighting exactly why the club believes both players can make an impact at the highest level.
“Max Eberl has certainly done a good job by bringing in those two players. Both are very good players, as they showed at the World Cup. Saibari was outstanding until his injury and scored in every game. Brown is an excellent player who can really help us. He has great pace and is a perfect
fit for FC Bayern,” Hainer told Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Saibari’s World Cup performances appear to have played a major role in raising his profile. The attacking midfielder was one of the tournament’s standout performers before injury interrupted his campaign, and his goalscoring consistency made a particularly strong impression. Scoring in every game before being forced out is a remarkable achievement and underlines the quality Bayern Munich believes it is bringing into its squad.
Brown, meanwhile, offers a different but equally valuable profile. His pace gives Bayern Munich another dynamic option on the flank, while his ability to cover ground quickly could be particularly important in Vincent Kompany’s high-intensity system. Hainer’s comment that Brown is a “perfect fit for FC Bayern” suggests the club sees more than just potential in the young defender.
Together, the two signings represent another important step in Bayern Munich’s squad planning. Both players impressed on the biggest international stage, and now they will have the opportunity to prove that they can translate that form to the Allianz Arena.
The expectations will be high, but Hainer clearly believes Bayern Munich has added two players ready to take the next step.
