Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Cardinals fans and fans across the country.
It takes one thing to believe in the direction of the franchise, any franchise in sports… Wins.
If you win more than you lose, you will always be confident in what the team is doing, but those wins have to come consistently. We will worry about winning but not enough if the Cardinals get there, but for now, things are going to be a little
better heading into this one.
Arizona Cardinals fans are more confident in the direction of the team than they have been in weeks, as 55% of fans are confident in the direction of the team.
That is a big jump, but the funny thing is, 73% don’t buy this weeks defensive performance, which to me would be the only reason to be confident in the direction of the team.
The reason I say that is because the offense has not been good, it is injured, the wide receivers look mostly irrelevant and that was supposed to be the strong point of the team. So, the defense and special teams winning a game boosting the confidence in the direction of the team, but not buying what the side of the ball that helped them win that game was interesting to me.
Do the Cardinals at 4.5-point underdogs according to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook show that the outside is more confident in the direction of the team?
What is your reasoning for the boost in confidence of the direction of the team, but not buying the defensive effort yet?
