CountryBox247, 7:00 pm ET CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing
From Plaza Mariachi in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s the 45th edition of CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing! Where does the time go? You could ask Oliver McCall, 61 years young and on deck for his 4th appearance on CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing. Kish Moody is the music.
Saturday, November 7th
Paramount+, 11:30 am ET Zuffa Boxing 12
From Hackney Wick, England. The company that said they’d revolutionize and take over boxing across the world brings you England’s
second most compelling showcase of the day. The main event is a ten-rounder at cruiserweight between Chris Billam-Smith and Cheavon Clarke. Also on the card is Denzel Bentley vs Shane Mosley, not fighting for the WBO middleweight title that was stripped from Bentley yesterday. Bentley technically held the title, though he never won it in the ring, getting elevated after Janibek Alimkhanuly moved to super middleweight, and never defended it after he signed with Zuffa rather than face a mandatory against Yoenli Hernandez. Also, Zach Parker vs Umar Dzambekov. Main card is expected to start at 2 pm ET, putting it head to head with the Queensberry show that will get full live coverage. Expect this Zuffa event to either get “take your little brother with you” treatment in the comments of that Queensberry coverage, or a separate watchalong space in The Feed.
Joshua Buatsi vs Willy Hutchinson 2 (DAZN, 2:00 pm ET)
BLH will have live results and updates
From Manchester, England, for the vacant WBC light heavyweight title formerly held by David Benavidez. These two have gone at each other once before in September of 2024, on the undercard for Dubois-Joshua. Buatsi won that one by split decision, winning the vacant interim WBO title, which he dropped to Callum Smith his next time out. Both men have otherwise handled all their in-ring business since then, and so they’re back at it together for another vacant world belt.
ON THE UNDERCARD: Two fights for a vacant title of some level of regard: Jack Rafferty faces Hovhannes Martirosyan for the vacant IBO welterweight strap in the chief support. And, a little further down the card, Zak Miller fights Gully Powar for the vacant British featherweight belt. Powar may sound like someone fighting in Narnia, or perhaps the male sidekick/minor antagonist in an unpublished Pippi Longstocking adventure… But, early stage WBC Grand Prix viewers will recall him lasting a few rounds in the featherweight division.
TrillerTV PPV, 7:00 pm ET Danny Garcia vs Ruslan Provodnikov
From Coral Gables, Florida. Garcia’s retirement lasted exactly one year and 20 days. Provodnikov last fought as a pro over 10 years ago. Technically, he won’t be in a pro fight here, as it’s another of the exhibitions boxing fans seem uniquely suited to spend money to see. Nobody pays to watch a PPV of retired baseballers take batting practice or retired basketballers shoot free throws. But, here we are, again. Provodnikov was constitutionally incapable of giving a boring fight, and anyone who watched the sport 10-15 years ago likely has a beloved boxing memory that involves him. For me, it was Matthysse-Provodnikov in 2015, a fight so brutally violent that Provodnikov’s post-fight urine sample looked like something between tar and a pint of Guinness. But, again, it’s been over 10 years and this isn’t even an official fight. There are two notable sanctioned bouts in support, though. Jose Zepeda faces Alberto Machado, and Yokasta Valle defends her WBC minimumweight title against Maria Luz Peral. $29.99 gets you the show.
DAZN, 8:00 pm ET Abraham Perez vs Yankiel Rivera
From Albuquerque, New Mexico, for Perez’s interim WBA flyweight title. Perez won that belt from Jonathan Gonzalez by close split decision back in June, and defends it here for the first time. Rivera was a fast rising star until hitting some adversity in 2025, first in a majority draw against Angelino Cordova, then a loss to Gonzalez for this same belt. He took a get-well fight in September, knocking out a 5-10 opponent in the first round. Undercard includes Atif Oberlton vs Deon Nicholson at light heavyweight and Pryce Taylor vs Tsonte Rogava at heavy.
Sunday, November 8th
Most Valuable Promotions: MVPW-07 (ESPN, 8:30 pm ET)
BLH will have live results and updates
From Arlington, Texas. The main event features Elif Turhan defending her IBF lightweight title against Alycia Baumgardner. This one is scheduled for 10 three-minute rounds. Turhan won the belt from Beatriz Ferrera in December of last year, and already has two successful defenses so far in 2026. Baumgardner still holds multiple titles at super featherweight, and moves up past 130 lbs. for the first time in over five years.
ON THE UNDERCARD: Two title fights at 122 lbs. Ramla Ali and Mikiah Kreps vie for two vacant super bantamweight belts: the WBO and the IBF. And, Skye Nicholson defends her WBC super bantamweight title against Miyo Yoshida. Prelims stream on ESPN+ starting at 5:15 pm ET.
