Barcelona take on Racing on Wednesday night in La Liga, with manager Hansi Flick admitting he could rotate his team ahead of the game.
“We have to manage the minutes. Today was a recovery day and the training wasn’t very hard, and we’ll see tomorrow who starts and who gets more or fewer minutes,” he told a pre-match press conference.
“Everyone wants to play and wants to be in the starting eleven, but we have to manage it.”
Barcelona’s attack has been full of goals so far this season but Flick could
opt to shake things up in a bid to keep his players fresh and due to the many options he has available.
Karim Adeyemi is pushing for a place in the starting XI after scoring a brilliant goal last time out, while Gabriel Jesus will also be hoping to make his first start since joining from Arsenal.
