The world, real and digital versions, can be a wild place. Sometimes that’s amazing, at other times terrifying. This item is somewhere in between, I think. It’s definitely random and kinda weird, but after the initial WTF reaction, pleasantly so.
The headline already told you what it is, but just in case you thought I was joking — because I definitely thought it was a joke or trick when I first saw it… here’s AEW’s Kevin Knight and former WWE & TNA wrestler Mara Sade, elaborately dressed as royalty
for All Hallow’s Eve festivities, in the parking lot of a Spirit Halloween with award-winning, billionaire multi-hyphenate Rihanna.
Sade has captioned the pictures with what the Fenty mogul and nine-time Grammy winner said to them last weekend outside of an old Staples (or whatever zombie retail outlet this Spirit Halloween possessed):
“Hold on I needa get a picture w/ the King & Queen. Love a fly ass couple.
P.S You smell good too🤩”– Rihanna
One of my first thoughts was that the photos must be AI generated, but they don’t seem to be. The quality is poor in a believably “quick pics taken in a parking lot” way, and Knight’s “holy shit that’s Rihanna oh we’re taking a picture what do I do” reactions read as completely authentic to me.
My biggest question was “What is Rihanna doing in a Spirit Halloween parking lot”. But because the world’s wild, RiRi’s Halloween shopping habits have been documented and are available online, so a quick search confirms she’s been doing a fair amount of it with her kids this year. Which is another sign the pics, and the moment they captured, were real.
Odd but pretty cool, no?
