With the Los Angeles Rams on a bye this week, it’s a time for fans to relax from the stresses and excitement of gamedays. However, for many diehard fans, they have a favorite team residing in the opposite
conference they elect to root for on occasion. So Rams fans, what is your favorite AFC team that you find yourself rooting for?
The AFC seems to have the best options to root for compared to the NFC. For starters, the AFC has some of the best and most exciting quarterbacks in the league, such as:
- Josh Allen
- Patrick Mahomes
- Lamar Jackson
- Joe Burrow
- Justin Herbert
- Tua Tagovailoa — JK
The conference also has other young or emerging signal callers, including Drake Maye, Bo Nix and Daniel Jones. Talent like that at the game’s most important position is part of the reason the league has never been more exciting to watch.
One team I’ve got a soft spot for is the Broncos. Nix is a fun player to watch, and the defense is top-tier. Sean Payton figured out how to save this floundering franchise, another testament to his Hall of Fame resume. Once Denver figured out how to get out of that godawful Russell Wilson contract, they managed to assemble quite a roster, even if they aren’t yet at the Chiefs’ level. But is anyone really?
