NC State’s first availability report this week, listed as questionable along with JJ Johnson, Justin Joly, and Ronnie Royal.
Hollywood got hurt in practice this week, I guess? I don’t remember anything happening in the game last week.
Joly and Royal did hurt themselves against Pitt—Joly while running in the open field toward the end zone, Royal on a head-first hit he delivered at the goal line. It was easy to fear the worst watching Joly hobble his way in for a touchdown, but he was able to get on the bike after getting checked out and tried to get back on the field, so he didn’t tear anything. Royal is in the concussion protocol, I’m guessing.
Georgia Tech will be without starting cornerback Ahmari Harvey, while starting nickel Jy Gilmore (tied for fourth on the team with 29 tackles) and defensive tackle Matthew Alexander (16 tackles, 1.0 TFL) are questionable.
