Lamine Yamal is back at Barcelona after returning from international duty with Spain and has been having some fun with team-mate Gavi.
The youngster seemed in good spirits as he poked fun at Gavi in a post on social media. Yamal showed Gavi trying to do some pull-ups and added the caption: “Gavi, it’s better if they help you bro!”
The midfielder then responded in typically combative fashion, saying: “Hahahahah
count all the rounds I’d already done!”
Gavi has been working hard on the training ground over the last two weeks as he wasn’t called up by Luis de la Fuente for Spain duty.
According to Marca, Gavi has been able to “fully regain his fitness” and is now in a better condition to feature for Barcelona than when he first returned.
Gavi’s not quite ready to start games but the hope is that will be able to play a role in the run-in as Barca go for glory in La Liga and the Champions League.
Yamal will also continue to be important in the coming weeks, particularly with Raphinha sidelined through injury.
