A lot of people were pulling for him to win the whole dang thing. They’ll likely be the most upset, but I don’t think any wrestling fan is going to like hearing the announcement WWE made about Sheamus
and the Last Time Is Now Tournament.
BREAKING NEWS: Due to a shoulder injury,
@WWESheamus is not medically cleared to continue competition in The Last Time is Now Tournament. Additional information will be provided tonight on #SmackDown.
Sheamus defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in the first round of the tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent next month at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C. Plans for the last two rounds of The Last Time Is Now tourney haven’t been announced, so we can’t say for sure who he’d have wrestled next. We may get some more insight into WWE’s plans when they cover Sheamus’ injury tonight (Nov. 21) live from Denver on SmackDown.
Whatever they tell us, this likely means Monday’s trios victory over The Judgment Day with Rey Mysterio was the last time we’ll ever see Sheamus and Cena in the same ring together.
