Last night in Memphis, Keldon scored 13 points. This one in particular was of note:
On that shot, Johnson passed Marco Belinelli for Spurs franchise bench scoring. Belinelli scored 2,238 off the bench during
his time with the Silver & Black.
Keldon is currently fifth overall just under 200 points from catching Matt Bonner who scored 2,626 while he was in San Antonio.
Keldon is still a thousand points behind Malik Rose who played off the bench for the Spurs for eight seasons. He’s also 3,300 points off from Patty Mills during his decade in the Alamo City.
And of course, Manu Ginobili tops the Spurs bench scoring with 8,278 over his sixteen spectacular seasons with the only NBA team he ever suited up for.
Keldon has only come off the bench in 173 of his 405 games. He’s averaging just under 13 points per game off the bench for his career.
He definitely has the ability to move up the ladder if he retains longevity with the Spurs.
