What is the story about?
Cincinnati Reds lefty Nick Lodolo is back on the mound for his second start of the 2026 season after blisters cost him the entirety of the month of April. He’ll face the Washington Nationals, who pummelled Reds pitching for six homers in the series opener on Tuesday in Great American Ball Park.
The Reds will look to level the series, and are aiming to do so with a revamped lineup that sees the likes of Elly De La Cruz and Sal Stewart bumped up in the batting order behind leadoff man Will Benson.
