Grace Vest, Bella Diorio and Grace Coppinger all posted goals for the No. 19 TCU soccer team during Thursday’s 3-0 win against Texas A&M in College Station. Kamdyn Fuller and Peyton Nourse assisted Vest’s goal in the ninth minute, while Evie Baker aided in Coppinger’s strike during the 57th minute. The Horned Frogs (3-1-1) outshot the Aggies 13-10 and outpaced Texas A&M 10-5 on corner kicks. The shot on goals were even, 6-6.
Olivia Geller notched five saves in her shutout effort. TCU, which opened its SEC trek with a loss to Alabama and a win against Georgia, will conclude the rounds with a home match against Texas on Sunday. The victory against Texas A&M was TCU’s fourth on the road in program history and second at Ellis Field. It was also TCU’s largest win margin over the Aggies since 1992. Diorio and Vest each scored their first goals of the season in the win.
