After missing the team’s last two games thanks to a shoulder injury, it looks as if Buffalo Bills wideout DJ Moore will play this week against the Baltimore Ravens. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Bills’ No. 1 wideout is “expected” to play in today’s game.
Moore, 29, initially injured his shoulder in the first half of Buffalo’s Week 2 victory over
the Detroit Lions. While he was able to play against the Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots, he left that game against New England after reaggravating the injury. He did not play in wins over the Los Angeles Rams or Las Vegas Raiders.
Buffalo’s bye week last week, combined with those two DNPs, seems to have given Moore the rest needed to return to the lineup. He’s in his first season with the Bills, and he’s been as good as advertised when he’s been able to play. Moore has 12 catches for 178 yards and a touchdown on 20 targets this season.
Buffalo’s inactive list will become official at 11:30 a.m. EDT, so we’ll know soon whether Schefter’s reporting is correct. However, based on this initial report, it seems to be a good bet that Moore will be back for a big AFC matchup.
