Arizona is coming off a series to forget in Tampa, where they were swept. for the first game. A win tonight against the Giants gets the Diamondbacks back to .500 for the season. That’s not terribly impressive, but it is an important first step in convincing Mike Hazen to remain a potential buyer at the trade deadline.
