Overall, 33 former members of the Texas football team are in some way connected to an NFL roster currently on its way to the playoffs (14 out of 32 NFL franchises have qualified for this year’s postseason
bracket tournament.)
In fact, 17 of the the same 33 former players are currently sitting in active roster spots, 5 former players are members of franchises’ practice squads, 7 former Texas football-turned-NFL athletes are injured, and four are members of various NFL franchise coaching staffs that have been successful enough to lead teams into the postseason.
That’s according to Texas Athletics.
