Bayley made a surprise return to AAA to ruffle feathers.
Bayley debuted in AAA at Rey de Reyes as a surprise challenger to Flammer for the Reina de Reinas Championship. Interference from Las Toxicas helped Flammer retain the title. Bayley hadn’t seen been again in AAA until another surprise appearance on Saturday night’s episode of AAA TV (May 9, 2026), which was taped last week from Queretaro.
La Catalina has eyes on Flammer’s title, and the former CMLL luchadora made her in-ring debut for AAA. Catalina was
tested hard by Jessy Jackson, and she prevailed in the end to win on a flying splash.
Flammer scouted Catalina from the Spanish commentary table. When the champ confronted the potential challenger, Las Toxicas were not far behind. La Hiedra and Maravilla ambushed Catalina. Lola Vice ran out to help Catalina, but the numbers were still too much. That’s when Bayley arrived to serve payback on Las Toxicas.
The crowd was hot for Bayley and chanted her name. This is a simple and effective angle to presumably set up a trios match. Las Toxicas are great at being villains. Catalina, Lola, and Bayley are the heroes who have each been screwed over by Las Toxicas during the past year. Line them up, and let them fight.
