The Los Angeles Rams are intent on heightening the team’s chances of winning another Super Bowl while Matthew Stafford is still active and good. Coming off of his first MVP season, Stafford says he’s ready to go for his age-38 campaign and so far the Rams haven’t made it clear how much they intend to change about the offense going into 2026.
We know that Trent McDuffie will be added to the defense and that Tyler Higbee’s future is a question mark, but will the Rams address any needs on offense? Do
they have any needs on offense?
Defensively, it’s clear that the Rams have concerns about side of the ball based on, if nothing else, their trade for McDuffie. Still holding the 13th overall pick in the draft, will L.A. continue addressing that side of the ball?
The answer to that question could become a little bit more clear after free agency and the Rams have enough cap space but potentially even more if they work on restructures and extensions with certain players, including Stafford and McDuffie. OvertheCap projects L.A. at $27.5 million but the number will change soon.
So who do you, the Rams fans, want the team to sign in free agency?
I’ll post some prompts in the comments below or just leave your comment directly to that question if you already know the answer.
ESPN’s top-10 free agents include a former Rams player:
- Trey Henderickson
- Tyler Linderbaum
- Jaelan Phillips
- Alec Pierce
- Rasheed Walker
- Odafeh Oweh
- Braden Smith
- John Franklin-Myers
- Alontae Taylor
- Quay Walker
At #11 is Riq Woolen, a cornerback from the Seattle Seahawks who could be a target for L.A.’s continued need to get better on the outside after acquiring McDuffie as a potential slot weapon.
