Barcelona have been hit with more bad news on the injury front as Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde have both been sidelined with injuries sustained in the Copa del Rey win over Atletico.
Hansi Flick is now going to have to make changes to his backline for the coming weeks and has plenty of decisions to make.
The German coach will be able to recall Eric Garcia, after he missed the Atletico game due to suspension, with the versatile star able to play at right-back or center-back.
Gerard Martin is another
player who can be used centrally or out wide, while Joao Cancelo can play on either side of the defence.
Pau Cubarsi put in a stellar showing against Atletico and looks set to continue in the heart of the defence, with Ronald Araujo an option following his return to action.
Flick has used the Uruguay international sparingly since his mental health break, but he did say before the second leg against Atletico that he was available to start.
