The Jaguars (3-1) head to London as massive favorites over the Eagles (2-2), and it’s easy to see why. Part of it is how well Jacksonville has been playing. The rest is an Eagles team that has been crippled by injuries, and their Hall of Fame right tackle just announced his retirement. Jacksonville’s report is lengthy too, but the Eagles’ injury problems are far more of a story.
Jaguars Injury Report
- RB LeQuint Allen Jr. – Hip – Full Participant
- WR Jakobi Meyers – Thumb – Full Participant
- S Eric Murray – Concussion – Limited (upgraded from DNP Wednesday)
- CB Montaric Brown – Hamstring – Limited
- CB Jarrian Jones – Foot – Limited
- CB Jaylon Jones – Hamstring – Limited
- CB Jourdan Lewis – Hamstring – Limited
- DT Davon Hamilton – Foot – Limited
- OT Anton Harrison – Elbow – Limited
- DE Josh Hines-Allen – Groin – Limited
- OT Cole Van Lanen – Knee – Limited
It’s a long list, but most of it looks like week-to-week maintenance. Allen and Meyers both getting full practices on Thursday is a good sign for the offense. Two names still carry a risk of missing Sunday: Murray, who was upgraded to limited after sitting out Wednesday but still has to clear the concussion protocol, and Brown, who missed last week’s game with a hamstring injury. Corner is the group to watch, with four of them on the report. That makes Brown’s status the biggest factor for the secondary’s depth in London.
Eagles Injury Report
- RB Saquon Barkley – Hamstring – DNP
- WR DeVonta Smith – Hamstring – DNP
- WR Marquise Brown – Ankle – DNP
- S Marcus Epps – Groin – DNP
- LB Jonathan Greenard – Ankle – DNP
- C Drew Kendall – Knee – DNP
- LB Zack Baun – Concussion – Limited
- LB Jihaad Campbell – Knee – Limited (upgraded from DNP Wednesday)
- TE Dallas Goedert – Knee – Limited
- T Fred Johnson – Knee – Limited
- WR Dontayvion Wicks – Hamstring – Limited
- CB Quinyon Mitchell – Knee – Full Participant (upgraded from Limited Wednesday)
The Eagles are in rough shape. Barkley and Smith not practicing Thursday is a major blow to the offense, and Marquise Brown sitting out as well thins the receiver room even more. Wicks was limited, so he’s the one pass catcher with a chance to help. Up front, Kendall didn’t practice and Johnson was limited, which adds more concern to an offensive line already hit by the retirement. On defense, Baun, Campbell and Goedert were all limited, but Greenard and Epps sitting out leaves real questions at linebacker and safety. The one bright spot was star corner Quinyon Mitchell, who went from limited to full on Thursday.
What it means for Sunday
Jacksonville should be close to full strength, with Murray and Brown the only real question marks. Philadelphia could be without several of its best players, and with so much of the offense in doubt, the Jaguars’ defense could have a big day. Expect both reports to sharpen with Friday’s final designations.
