Indiana’s offensive line keeps getting good news this offseason.
Bray Lynch, the Hoosiers’ starter at right guard for the 2025 national championship run, announced he’ll be returning to the program for the 2026
season on social media on Sunday. Lynch was a member of Indiana’s signing class of 2022 and redshirted as a freshman his first season, giving him one more year of eligibility. He joins Carter Smith, a fellow member of the class of 2022 and the Hoosiers’ starter at left tackle, as a returner.
Lynch also started all 13 games in 2024 after being a rotational lineman as a redshirt freshman in 2023. Indiana’s offensive line earned semifinalist honors for the Joe Moore Award presented to the top line in college football in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons, earning a finalist distinction in the latter season.
With proven experience returning and the addition of former Wisconsin lineman Joe Brunner, Indiana’s offensive line is a definite strength heading into the offseason.
