The Seattle Seahawks are coming off their first loss in over a month, losing agonizingly 21-19 to the Los Angeles Rams and ceding first place to their rivals in the NFC West. To kick off Seahawks Reacts for Week 12, we want to know if your confidence has been shaken in any way after a tough, turnover-fueled loss. We’ve been at 99 percent for a couple of weeks, how much (if at all) will it lower?
Second question is the standard scoring margin prediction, but with a twist. Seattle opened up as a 12.5-point favorite against the lowly Tennessee Titans, so let’s have some fun with it. Will the Seahawks fail to cover the spread (win by 1-12 pts), cover the spread (13+ pt win), or just straight up lose (and, by default, fail to cover the spread)?
The question of the week circles back to the Rams game, but I’m not going to bait anyone into a Sam Darnold debate. Seattle’s loose grasp of the NFC West lead is now gone, and at the moment the Seahawks don’t have tiebreakers on either the Rams of the San Francisco 49ers, who should not be discounted from the division race at 7-4. Do you still believe Seattle will win the division? For reference, here are the remaining scheduled for the Rams, Seahawks, and 49ers.
Rams: vs. Buccaneers, at Panthers, at Cardinals, vs. Lions, at Seahawks, at Falcons, vs. Cardinals
Seahawks: at Titans, vs. Vikings, at Falcons, vs. Colts, vs. Rams, at Panthers, at 49ers
49ers: vs. Panthers, at Browns, vs. Titans, at Colts, vs. Bears, vs. Seahawks
Seems to me like Seattle has to worry about dropping to third in the NFC West just as much as they do hope the Rams slip up at any point between now and the Seahawks rematch in Week 16.
