Coming into 2025, the top three prospects in the team’s system were pretty well known. Aidan Miller, Andrew Painter and Justin Crawford were, in some manner, labeled as the consensus top three prospects the team was still developing, no matter where you put either one of those players and in what order. With 2026 right around the corner, all three have a shot at making a serious impact on the team in their season long march.
Of course, with lists getting started soon to be released for updating, that
means there are going to be some changes to the team’s top ten prospect lists. These three should again top the team’s list, but they will be joined by some new faces. The question for today is: which prospect do you think makes the biggest jump for the team?
The probably answer is newly drafted Gage Wood as he’s got the highest ceiling outside of those three names that will take the spots. Wood has the potential to even make his own debut in 2026 as well. Aroon Escobar is someone that might his name start to not only climb the team’s ladder, but also one that might come up frequently in trade talks.
It’ll be interesting which names you see join the fray.
