Part II of the Pittsburgh Steelers-Aaron Rodgers saga may finally be coming to an end.
According to Adam Crowley and Dorin Dickerson of 93.7 The Fan, Rodgers will be in Pittsburgh and is expected to re-sign with the team as soon as this weekend.
While many would be quick to write this off as just radio speculation, Ian Rapoport weighed in and confirmed that Rodgers is planning to visit Pittsburgh.
“Progress for the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers,” Rapoport said in a quote post of The Fan’s report. “While
no deal is in place, at least he is planning to visit for further discussion.”
When Rodgers initially signed with the Steelers last summer, he told The Pat McAfee Show that it was a one-year deal because he planned on 2025 being his final season. However, he left the door open at the tail end of the season to return, and it looks like he will be back for his second season in Pittsburgh.
