The number of fit players has been steadily dwindling over the past few weeks, but both Benoît Badiashile and Roméo Lavia had recently returned to training and playing, and they very well could play large
roles as we take on Liverpool today. Lavia was an unused substitute but Badiashile did play over 80 minutes midweek against Benfica. Afterwards, he seemed a bit doubtful about his ability to recover in such a short time after such a long time out, but perhaps he was just being conservative.
For the WAGNH Community, they both should be starting today, especially in Badiashile’s case, with only one other center back available. If Lavia is fit to start, we could see the rarely spotted trio of Caicedo-Enzo-Lavia in midfield (with Enzo furthest forward of that three).
Other than Lavia, all other starters are carrying a three-quarters majority. Alejandro Garnacho is not one of those starters: he leads all substitutes with 35%. Jorrel Hato (23%), Malo Gusto (16%), Facundo Buonanotte (15%), and Marc Guiu (14%) follow.
