The Tennessee Titans are going to be aggressive sellers prior to the NFL trade deadline (Nov. 4). Mike Borgonzi and Chad Brinker believe in rebuilding this roster through the draft. Acquiring additional
draft capital could help accelerate that process.
ESPN recently linked the Titans to a willingness to move three players in particular. Almost every Titans player not named Cam Ward (and his 2025 draft teammates), Peter Skoronski, and Jeffery Simmons should be available at the right price. We’ve identified seven Titans in particular who should be available for trade right now.
Arden Key, EDGE
Arden Key is one of several Titans on an expiring contract. Borgonzi desperately needs to revamp this pass-rushing group in the offseason and Key isn’t a part of their future plans. Rotational pass rushers usually garner interest as the deadline approaches.
Roger McCreary, CB
Roger McCreary was mentioned in Jeremy Fowler’s article. We don’t necessarily agree with McCreary being used as trade bait, but the team may think otherwise. His physical and size limitations don’t align with the front office’s preferred cornerback profile, and he’s also on an expiring contract.
Chig Okonkwo, TE
Chig Okonkwo is another player on an expiring contract that Borgonzi and Brinker inherited from a previous regime. He’s shown some chemistry with Cam Ward, so the Titans should tread carefully here. Either way, the future of the TE position probably lies with Gunnar Helm and a future draft pick.
Tony Pollard, RB
Tony Pollard is signed through 2026, but he could garner interest on the market. Pollard is an effective ball-carrier, and it’s not his fault the Titans’ offense is totally inept. The Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati Bengals are among the postseason contenders who could consider adding a running back at the deadline.
Calvin Ridley, WR
Calvin Ridley is a potential cap casualty in the offseason. He hasn’t lived up to expectations this year and it was previous GM Ran Carthon who signed him to a $92 million contract. Ridley still has upside to explore in this offense, but any half-decent offer would have to be strongly considered (though we doubt one materializes).
Dre’Mont Jones, EDGE
Dre’Mont Jones is another one-year solution on an expiring contract. Jones has actually improved his performances in recent weeks, registering two sacks and a fumble recovery. The Titans will almost certainly trade at least one of Key or Jones.
Kevin Zeitler, IOL
Kevin Zeitler is a 35-year-old guard who won’t return next campaign. The Titans would have to weigh an offer versus how his departure would negatively impact protecting Ward. Zeitler has been decent, but hasn’t met full expectations as the offensive line continues to underperform.
Other Titans players they should consider trading, but probably won’t get an offer for: Van Jefferson, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Xavier Woods, Quandre Diggs, L’Jarius Sneed.
