UPDATES
Well things change.
The mild dryness of the day is going to give way to some rain.
With ESPN’s College Gameday on campus in the morning, fans in attendance may want to bring a poncho or an umbrella. It may not be a downpour, but rain is rain.
As fans start to tailgate throughout the day, they’ll see much of the same weather as the morning brought them with some sun here and there and a little bit of rain.
And now we get to the real portion of the day… the actual football game. The clouds will give way
to a dryer night, but cooler air will enter the area. Kickoff will see temps around 40 degrees, and we should be in the high 30’s by the end of the game. Have fun out there!
The biggest games of the college football season is coming up for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this weekend. In fact, it’s the biggest game FOR Notre Dame and quite possibly their opponent as well, the Miami Hurricanes.
As we’ve talked about in the past, on of the fun things to see in November is when southern warm-weather schools are forced to travel north to play a game. How cold will it be? Will it snow? Will the southern team be slowed down by the entire catalog of the North Face brand?
Well… it ain’t like that at all this weekend.
Tailgaters are going to enjoy spectacular weather all day long as they grill and drink the day away surrounded by peak fall foliage. After a warmer than usual week, fans will get a high of around 51 degrees under a partly sunny sky.
That forecast, however, is just for the fans. What about the weather at game time? How cold will it get once that sun drops down on the western horizon?
Well… it’s fall football weather. A 41 degree night isn’t really going to bother anyone other than that old couple from Chicago who lives in Boca Raton now, and the kickers.
