The Jacksonville Jaguars weathered the storm in Baltimore, and the Ravens had no answer for the elements or Anthony Campanile’s defense. In a rainy Thursday night showdown, Jacksonville completely smothered Baltimore, turning a hostile road environment into a blowout victory.
Here’s everything you need to know from Jacksonville’s Week 9 33-10 road win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Favorite Highlight:
Mr. Consensus Boards, tight end Nate Boerkircher, adjusting on the fly to Trevor Lawrence’s extended scramble, was exactly
what Jacksonville needed to get the game started early.
Post-game notables:
- Taking The Show on the Road
- After three home blowout victories in the 2026 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars put together their first multi-score victory away from Duval County. A looming question heading into this matchup was whether Liam Coen’s squad could replicate their clear home dominance (+85-point win differential) when on the road. On Thursday, they answered this call, and then some.
- Turnover Party
- Anthony Campanile’s defense dominated rookie undrafted free agent quarterback Joe Fagnano in a clear way, limiting the Baltimore quarterback to 60 total passing yards, sacking him once, forcing two interceptions, and allowing no touchdowns (a 22.7 passer rating). Notably, a passer rating for simply hiking and spiking the ball earns a 39.6. To put this performance in context: Baltimore wide receiver Zay Flowers caught just one more Fagnano pass attempt than the Jacksonville defense. Additionally, Jacksonville has allowed just 10 first-quarter points this season, fewest in the NFL.
- Liam Coen’s Continued Dominance
- As noted by Jaguars on SI’s John Shipley, since 2024, Liam Coen offenses have averaged 36 points per game when facing defenses run by Jesse Minter. The 2024 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Coen as the offensive coordinator, scored 40 points; Jacksonville scored 35 against the Chargers in Week 11 of 2025; the team scored 33 on Thursday.
- Tight Ends Matter
- The Jacksonville tight end room combined for 6 catches for 98 yards on Sunday, in a dominant showing of offensive versatility.
- Nate Boerkircher – 2 catches for 61 yards
- Brenton Strange – 2 catches for 22 yards
- Tanner Koziol – 2 catches for 15 yards
- The Jacksonville tight end room combined for 6 catches for 98 yards on Sunday, in a dominant showing of offensive versatility.
In Case You Missed It
The Jacksonville offense opened the matchup with back-to-back scoring drives: an opening 7-play, 77-yard drive capped by a one-yard Bhayshul Tuten score, followed by a 10-play, 47-yard drive that ended with a 36-yard Cam Little attempt to retain a seven-point lead. Ravens’ third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano, in his first NFL start, clearly played second fiddle to running back Derek Henry early on in the rainy Baltimore night. With the Ravens leaning on a package of Wildcat offense, read options, and quick game offense, the Baltimore offense played a disciplined, ball control, first half offense. However, the offensive limitations were clear. Anthony Campanile’s defense held Baltimore to 2 of 6 on third down (30%) with a 3.3 yard average per play.
However, the Baltimore defensive dam finally broke via an explosive, 50-yard touchdown, as Lawrence found Parker Washington streaking across the middle to kick off the rout.
Halftime Stats:

QB Trevor Lawrence ended the half 9/15 for 197 yards and a touchdown (126.4 passer rating), while RB Bhayshul Tuten had 8 carries for 22 yards and a touchdown. Following the half, the Jacksonville defense continued their early dominance, forcing the game’s first turnover on the series, as Montaric Brown secured a diving throw from Fagnano, which resulted in a 45-yard field goal.
Campanile’s defense refused to let up, securing another turnover on the following drive with Jourdan Lewis bringing in the diving interception.
With the game falling out of reach, Jacksonville poured it on, with Jalen McLeod securing a fumble on the following kickoff, leading to a Chris Rodriguez touchdown. Linebacker Foye Oluokun secured the game’s only sack, while wide receiver Travis Hunter surrendered Jacksonville’s lone turnover, a third-quarter fumble. However, the defense held Baltimore without points following the turnover, turning it over on downs.
