The Seattle Seahawks are back in the Super Bowl for the first time in a decade to renew their matchup from Super Bowl 49 against the New England Patriots.
With both teams looking healthy, this one should be a nail-biter between two of the league’s best defensive-minded head coaches. The Seahawks enter as 4.5-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook, but the added hype around the Super Bowl means there’s far more than the standard bets to increase the pressure of the game, if you can handle it.
Here are
four fun prop bets for Super Bowl 60:
Seahawks Defense Anytime Touchdown (+550)
The Seahawks defense has been unmatched this season in large part due to their ability to confuse quarterbacks and generate turnovers. With Patriots quarterback Drake Maye in just his second season and dealing with a shoulder injury before the biggest game of his life, there’s no doubt going to be some nerves. Not only that, but Maye hasn’t been his MVP-runner-up self in the postseason, turning the ball over five times in three games. Seattle’s defense is nothing if not capable of taking any turnover back for a touchdown.
Kenneth Walker III over 98.5 rushing/receiving yards (-114)
With Walker’s contract up at the end of this season, there’s the possibility that this is his last game in a Seahawks uniform. On top of picking a fan favorite running back to cheer on, Walker has been on a tear during the playoffs, racking up over 120 total yards in both of Seattle’s games. Without Zach Charbonnet, he’ll be given the bulk of the responsibility behind a fully healthy offensive line.
Seahawks special teams to Score a TD (+1200)
Ever since the Seahawks acquired Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline, there’s been no better return man in the NFL. His two return touchdowns have been monumental swings in games, and they’ll be in need of one in this game. The last Seahawks Super Bowl victory featured a star returner taking one to the house, so why wouldn’t this one? Keep in mind there’s never been a punt return touchdown in Super Bowl history, believe it or not.
Will there be scorigami? Yes (+2500)
This bet is far out there, but in this house, we always root for scorigami. While the master of the unique NFL score, Pete Carroll, has left, his imprint on the franchise cannot be understated. Even the Seahawks only Super Bowl victory, 43-8 against the Denver Broncos, was scorigami under Carroll. If you’re looking for a unique bet that could get the conversation started at a party, this one is it.
