The 4-0 (1-0 ACC) #16 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets look to become 5-0 for the first time since 2014 as they head to Winston-Salem to face 2-1 (0-1 ACC) Wake Forest. Tech is a 13.5 point favorite according
to FanDuel as the visitor, easily one of the larger spreads they’ll have all season. Wake Forest is coming off a bye week while Tech last week defeated Temple 45-24.
Tech only has four players on the injury report compared to Wake’s 13 players that are confirmed to be out, with two questionable. Of note, Trelain Maddox is available to provide more running back depth behind Jamal Haynes with Daylon Gordon and JP Powell.

From the advanced stats perspective, Tech at 47th nationally is 40 spots ahead of Wake when it comes to adjusted expected points added (EPA) per play (via Game on Paper).

The weather is looking to be very rainy for the 12pm kickoff, so we anticipate plenty of running from Tech as they’re want to do. A win will mark Tech’s 5th straight over the Demon Deacons.
