NBC Sports announced a slate of 27 prime-time MLB games to air on “Sunday Night Baseball” on either NBC or Peacock, as well as 34 afternoon games on “MLB Sunday Leadoff”, and one out-of-market game each
day of the season to stream nationally on Peacock. The Royals have three games on the schedule:
- April 26 at home against the Angels at 6 p.m. CT on Peacock
- May 10 at home against the Tigers at 6 p.m. CT on Peacock
- September 6 at home against the Blue Jays at 7 p.m. CT on Peacock
On July 5, all 15 MLB games will air exclusively on Peacock NBC Sports will also feature a Sunday afternoon “whip-around show” on Peacock following MLB Sunday Leadoff games, featuring look-ins at all the live action around Major League Baseball, plus a special final day of regular season whip-around show on Sunday, September 27 on Peacock and NBCSN. NBC Sports will also carry exclusive coverage of the Wild Card round, to air on NBC, Peacock and NBCSN. NBC and Peacock willalso present early first-round coverage of the MLB Draft at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 11, and the All-Star Futures Game at Noon ET on Sunday, July 12.
NBC’s coverage kicks off March 26 with an Opening Day matinee between the Pirates and Mets. NBC’s Sunday Night Baseball will debut on March 29 with the Mariners vs. Guardians. MLB Sunday Leadoff debuts May 3 with the Blue Jays vs. Twins. You can see a full schedule here:
