According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies was getting in some work while the team traveled to Cologne and eventually captured a 3-1 win over FC Köln.
Davies, who missed the majority of the first half of the season with his recovery from an ACL injury, was making progress to take a bigger role in the squad, but was felled by an illness that kept him out of action for 11 days:
Alphonso Davies is back on the pitch today and worked with the ball after
recovering from a cold. Sacha Boey, meanwhile, is still working indoors. The club told @BILD that Boey is struggling with a very persistent gastrointestinal infection [📸@BILD]
Even with an 11-day absence, Davies’ sickness seems like it was nothing compared to Boey, who has now missed over a month and had reportedly lkost weight due to the sickness.
Hopefully, the duo can get healthy soon enough.
