Arijon Ibrahimović has made it clear that he is not satisfied with simply being part of the Bayern Munich squad. The young attacker wants to become a regular contributor and help the club compete for every available trophy this season.
With Bayern Munich boasting significant depth in attack, opportunities will not come easily. Luis Díaz, Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane are among the established stars competing for minutes, while Ibrahimović will have to take advantage of every opportunity
that comes his way.
The 20-year-old, however, has set ambitious goals for the campaign.
“I want to get as many minutes as possible – whether in the Bundesliga, the DFB-Pokal or the Champions League. And I want to win as many titles as possible with FC Bayern,” Ibrahimović told FCBayern.com (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
That ambition is exactly what Bayern Munich should want to hear from one of its young players.
Ibrahimović has already shown that he can offer versatility across the attack, capable of playing on either wing, as a number 10 or as a striker. He has even filled in at right-back during his time at Heidenheim, demonstrating his willingness to do whatever is necessary to help his team.
Now the next step is turning that versatility into consistent opportunities at Bayern Munich.
The competition will be fierce, but Ibrahimović has already made it clear that he intends to learn from the Colombian rather than shy away from the challenge.
If he can make an impact when called upon, his minutes could steadily increase throughout the season.
For Ibrahimović, the objective is straightforward: play as much as possible, contribute whenever he gets onto the pitch and finish the season with as many trophies as possible.
It is a simple goal, but an ambitious one for a young player trying to establish himself at Bayern Munich.
