Barcelona have verbally agreed a deal to send Marc Casado to Deportivo on a season-long loan.
Casado has been deemed surplus to requirements at Barcelona but has left it late to find a new club for the 2026-27 season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have agreed a deal that includes a purchase option set at 30 million euros.
Barcelona had been hoping to sell their academy graduate this summer but he’s instead opted to go out on loan to Deportivo, who are back in the Spanish top flight this season.
Casado joins Guille and Toni Fernandez in sealing a late move away from Barcelona on what has been a quietish deadline day for the Catalan giants.
Barcelona did also confirm the arrival of Gabriel Jesus on a permanent transfer from Arsenal. The Brazilian has signed a three-year contract at Camp Nou.
