Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week we ask questions of the most plugged-in Seattle Seahawks fans and fans across the country.
The Seattle Seahawks suffered their first loss of the 2026 season last week…a big surprise considering they were facing the Washington Commanders. The main question in this week’s pollasked how many games the Seahawks would win in October.
The majority of you think the Seahawks will win three or four games this month even though the level
of competition will see a notable uptick. After the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4, Seattle will face the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, and Kansas City Chiefs. That’s a pretty wicked gauntlet for those last three games.
In line with the win expectations for October, fan confidence is still riding high despite last week’s loss with 86% of fans feeling confident that the team is headed in the right direction.
Last week was definitely a kick to the groin, but had the Seahawks not turned the ball over three times while not getting a turnover themselves, they probably win that game relatively easily. However, the reality is that they lost to an inferior team and can’t take the winless Los Angeles Chargers lightly.
Maybe we should think of October as a “Former AFC West Rivalry” month since the Seahawks face three of the four teams in their former division. Add in the fact that the games against Denver and Kansas City are both prime time affairs, and we’ve got a pretty fun (and pivotal) month ahead. Oh yeah, and the Broncos game is featuring double throwback jerseys to add even more nostalgia to the affair.
If the win total matches fan expectations, this will be an exciting month!
