Rumors for the Day:
- Per Fightful Select, Kevin Owens wasn’t pulled from WWE World for “anything salacious” but rather because the timing just wasn’t going to work out.
- After Iyo Sky took down a social media challenge to Asuka for WrestleMania and no match was announced on Raw Monday night, Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer said he heard their match “could happen, but it would probably be moved to Backlash. But it’s not like it’s for sure going to be at Backlash.”
- In other changed WrestleMania plans, Self Made Pro claims Giulia vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Jordynne Grace was planned for the card about a month ago.
- There are several names under discussion for a main roster call up soon, says Bodyslam+: Joe Hendry, Jacy Jayne, Ethan Page, and Sol Ruca.
- Ringside claims Drew McIntyre won’t be taking time off post WrestleMania 42 to film the Highlander reboot as has been previously rumored.
- Swerve Strickland has been off AEW television but still busy filming promotional material for Warner Bros. Discovery, says Fightful Select.
- WWE recently filed trademarks for “Shido Ash” and “The Mog Squad”. Per Bodyslam+, Shido Ash will be the ring name for Shady Elnahas, one of three Olympians the company signed last year.
