Colorado Avalanche backup goaltender extraordinaire Scott Wedgewood received recognition from the league earlier this week for his stellar play with a 3-0-0 record, .954 save percentage and 1.00 Goals Against Average. He was named third star of the week for his efforts.
After weeks of fakeouts,
the Quebec Nordiques throwback jerseys are finally here. They will also go on sale at 10 a.m. online and in person at noon and will surely sell out quickly.
The team also shared that the special jerseys will be worn seven times this season beginning with this Thursday against the Hurricanes and also in January at Carolina. Oddly enough, the three 30th anniversary celebration nights aren’t included.
