Despite a few recent mistakes (mostly against Arsenal), Robert Sánchez never quite lost the favor of the WAGNH Community — the lowest his “approval rating”, you might call it, dropped was 61% — so it’s no surprise that Bob is back with a supermajority for today’s game after the mistakes of Filip Jörgensen doomed us on Wednesday night in Paris.
The other player to pay for that debacle in the voter’s eyes was Wesley Fofana (35%), who’s been voted out in favor of Mamadou Sarr. The rest of the lineup
takes on a familiar shape, also with Andrey Santos restored to it. Malo Gusto (35%) doesn’t usually curry favor with the voters, so it’s Reece James at right back even though he looked quite tired by the end of Wednesday (not that he was alone in that regard).
With the second leg against PSG coming up Tuesday, but with Chelsea practically out of that already, all focus should be on today. Jorrel Hato (28%), Josh Acheampong (24%), and Roméo Lavia (17%) can maybe start on Tuesday instead.
4-2-3-1 (84%)
Sánchez (84%) | Cucurella (72%), Sarr (63%), Chalobah (83%), James (69%) | Santos (72%), Caicedo (88%) | Enzo (91%), Palmer (94%), Garnacho (91%) | João Pedro (95%)
