I know we’re not exactly on Micah Parsons watch anymore, but there were still some interesting things to glean from the Green Bay Packers’ usage of players from their Week 3 loss against the Cleveland Browns. As a reminder, these are the raw snap counts for players. Our detailed snap counts will come out later this week, once I have the time to chart the game.
Quarterback
- 61 snaps: Jordan Love
- 0: Malik Willis
Obviously, Jordan Love is the Packers’ every-down quarterback.
Running Back
- 40: Josh Jacobs
- 14: Emanuel Wilson
- 8: Chris Brooks – 12 SPT
For the first time this year, Emanuel Wilson actually outsnapped Chris Books
on the offensive side of the ball. Wilson ran for 25 yards, while the Packers struggled on the ground throughout the day. In total, Josh Jacobs and Wilson combined for 22 carries for just 55 yards (2.5 yards per carry), and Brooks didn’t get a touch on offense. They just couldn’t get going behind Green Bay’s banged-up offensive line against the Cleveland defensive front.
Wide Receiver
- 54: Romeo Doubs
- 42: Matthew Golden – 6 SPT
- 40: Dontayvion Wicks
- 17: Malik Heath
- 6: Savion Williams – 3 SPT
As expected, the players who received the biggest jump in snaps following the loss of slot receiver Jayden Reed were first-round rookie Matthew Golden and Dontayvion Wicks. Third-round rookie Savion Williams is still mostly getting on the field for gadget plays or as a run blocker.
Tight End
- 54: Tucker Kraft – 1 SPT
- 14: John FitzPatrick – 5 SPT
- 13: Luke Musgrave – 4 SPT
- 0: Ben Sims – 3 SPT
Tucker Kraft led the offensive skill players in snaps played, so it doesn’t appear that his knee injury really impacted his role on the team. John FitzPatrick, a run blocker, out-snapped Luke Musgrave in this one and scored the Packers’ only touchdown on Sunday. There’s a real argument for FitzPatrick displacing Musgrave on the depth chart.
Offensive Line
- 61: Elgton Jenkins
- 61: Sean Rhyan – 3 SPT
- 60: Jordan Morgan – 3 SPT
- 57: Rasheed Walker – 3 SPT
- 33: Anthony Belton – 3 SPT
- 28: Aaron Banks – 1 SPT
- 4: Darian Kinnard – 3 SPT
- 1: Zach Tom
A cluster of injuries, starting with Zach Tom on the first offensive snap of the game, meant that all eight offensive linemen the Packers had available on gameday were inserted into the lineup at some point against the Browns. The only full-time preferred starter who was on the field for every snap of the game up front was center Elgton Jenkins, who struggled, as Sean Rhyan is generally a rotational right guard with Jordan Morgan when the line is healthy.
Defensive End
- 43: Micah Parsons
- 37 Rashan Gary
- 27: Lukas Van Ness – 14 SPT
- 14: Kingsley Enagbare – 14 SPT
- 3: Barryn Sorrell – 6 SPT
As we wrote up earlier this week, the snap count restrictions are off Micah Parsons and have been since last week. In back-to-back weeks, he’s out-snapped Rashan Gary. The only other thing of note here is that Barryn Sorrell was involved as a special teamer this week.
Defensive Tackle
- 35: Devonte Wyatt
- 34: Colby Wooden – 4 SPT
- 31: Karl Brooks – 9 SPT
- 8: Nazir Stackhouse – 5 SPT
It’s still a three-man rotation at defensive tackle for the Packers, as the team only seems to want to play rookie Nazir Stackhouse in very obvious short-yardage situations. Colby Wooden played more on defense this week than Karl Brooks.
Linebacker
- 57: Edgerrin Cooper – 4 SPT
- 57: Quay Walker – 4 SPT
- 19: Isaiah McDuffie – 19 SPT
- 2: Ty’Ron Hopper – 16 SPT
- 0: Nick Niemann – 16 SPT
The Browns play more two-tight end sets than the Packers are used to seeing, which is why Isaiah McDuffie got on the field so frequently in 4-3 looks this week. On Tuesday, we noted that this was the expectation going into the game. Fourth linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper also got on the field in some interesting goal-line looks, where Green Bay took defensive backs off the field for more box defenders. This was the first time we’ve seen the Packers do this in 2025.
Cornerback
- 55: Keisean Nixon – 4 SPT
- 43: Nate Hobbs – 4 SPT
- 18: Carrington Valentine – 7 SPT
- 0: Bo Melton – 13 SPT (1 offense)
Because Kamal Hadden was a healthy scratch, the Packers only had four cornerbacks available to them in this game. Bo Melton finally got his first special teams rep of the season…as an offensive player who faked a jet sweep. Nate Hobbs and Carrington Valentine split series as outside cornerbacks, with Hobbs receiving a couple of snaps as a nickel in obvious passing situations, too.
Safety
- 57: Xavier McKinney – 7 SPT
- 55: Evan Williams – 8 SPT
- 32: Javon Bullard – 8 SPT
- 0: Zayne Anderson – 13 SPT
- 0: Kitan Oladapo – 6 SPT
Evan Williams remains the full-time safety for the second week in a row, after Javon Bullard took most of the team’s 4-3 reps next to Xavier McKinney in Week 1. At this point, Bullard is more of a true slot defender than a safety.
Specialists
- LS Matt Orzech: 8 SPT
- P Daniel Whelan: 8 SPT
- K Brandon McManus: 6 SPT
