Quinnen Williams took a long look in the mirror and addressed him performance against New York.
Williams finished Sunday’s loss with three tackles, one quarterback hit, and a forced fumble. According to Tommy Yarrish of DallasCowboys.com, the veteran acknowledged that he did not play up to his own standard.
“I expect to be dominant every single week, I expect to be a playmaker or a game changer every single week. I wasn’t that, and I got to do better,” Williams said.

Moving on to this week, the leader
of the team was candid on the situation the Cowboys are in this Sunday.
“There’s definitely must wins in this league. I know you don’t want to say it, and at the end of the day, if it didn’t happen there’s still time, there’s a lot of opportunity. But just from a team, this team, all the changes, all the excitement, yeah, we’ve got to go win.” Prescott said. “What a great opportunity to do it against a division opponent that we know pretty well.”

The Cowboys make a move at running back after re-shuffling the position.
The Dallas Cowboys have been going through musical chairs at running back since their Week 1 28-20 loss to the New York Giants.
Malik Davis was placed on IR, forcing the team to make some moves. The Cowboys waived Israel Abanikanda and signed Tyler Goodson to join the active roster.
That wasn’t expected to be the last move the Cowboys made, as they were going to add to the practice squad. Dallas did exactly that, adding talent to the practice squad before facing the Washington Commanders in Week 2.

Schottenheimer: Cowboys could turn to rookie with green dot responsibilities in Week 2 – Todd Brock, Cowboys Wire
The Cowboys could put a lot on their rookie linebacker.
Schottenheimer wouldn’t commit to that plan, but he is confident that the third-round pick, who famously doesn’t say much around the locker room, would rise to the occasion.
“As always, we have multiple guys that can do it. All the confidence in the world in Jaishawn,” Schottenheimer told reporters. “He is actually very loud when he communicates. He would do fine in that, but we do have other things that we’re looking at.”

The Cowboys should be ready for the Commanders to take the fight to them.
The possession numbers against New York look horrible until you break them up. Dallas had the ball for 14:53 in the first half, and New York had it for 15:07. Fourteen seconds, that’s basically even. Then the second half happened. New York had the football for 21:33 and Dallas had it 8:27. If we break it down, that is 71.8% of the second half going to the Giants. The Commanders showed me they could play the same game. They had the ball for 33:20 against Philadelphia while running 67 offensive plays and rushing for 132 yards. The Eagles only had 53 plays.

If Dallas is already going to count on of their top rookies, why not arguably the best defender in the draft?
He is enormously talented and can do tons of different things. Benefit from that however you can.
