The Arizona Cardinals made moves on Monday ahead of their joint practices with the Green Bay Packers and their final game of the preseason.

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has activated linebacker Josh Sweat from the Physically Unable to Perform list (PUP).
In addition, the team has signed safeties Devyn Bobby and Hudson Clark. The signings took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.
Finally, the team has released
tight end Baylor Cupp and wide receiver Bryson Green, placed wide receiver Xavier Weaver on injured reserve and waived/injured running back Trey Benson.
Bobby (5-11, 198) is an undrafted rookie free agent from Baylor. He played four seasons (2022-25) at Baylor and appeared in 50 games (37 starts), finishing his collegiate career with 248 tackles (161 solo), five tackles for loss, 14 passes defensed, four interceptions, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. As a senior in 2025, Bobby ranked second on the team with 80 tackles while starting all 12 games.
Clark (6-0, 189) was most recently with the Tennessee Titans after playing with the Birmingham Stallions of the UFL where he saw action in eight games and had 15 tackles (12 solo), a tackle for loss, two passes defensed and an interception. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Raiders in 2025. During his five-year collegiate career at Arkansas (2020-25), Clark played 55 games (36 starts) and registered 224 tackles (122 solo), 12 tackles for loss, a half sack, 30 passes defensed, six interceptions, four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.
Bobby will wear jersey #39 and Clark will wear #37.
