Dan Quinn spoke to reporters before the team hits the practice field for a jog-through as they prepare for a road game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Washington Commanders announced several roster moves before Quinn stepped up to the microphone. WR Noah Brown has missed the last four games with a groin injury. He returned to practice last week, but has now been placed on injured reserve. Quinn said he didn’t suffer a setback during his two limited practices, his injury didn’t respond the way it needed
to for the workload.
Terry McLaurin has missed the last three games with a quad injury, and will return to practice for the first time this week. Quinn said he was making progress last week, but he wasn’t quite there yet. Deebo Samuel has also been dealing with a heel injury for the last two weeks, but still leads the team in WR snaps. Washington has been using wide receivers from their practice squad for depth, and signed Chris Moore from the practice squad after McLaurin’s injury.
