Jiri Prochazka made magic happen out of nowhere once again at UFC 320.
On Saturday night in Las Vegas, Prochazka snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in the third round of a fight with Khalil Rountree he was likely losing on the scorecards. The always unpredictable Prochazka seemed lost and listless through the first two rounds before activating berserker mode to start the final frame. Prochazka rushed at Rountree with wild combinations, forcing Rountree to brawl and after several back-and-forth
exchanges, a flurry of Prochazka punches left an exhausted Rountree flat on the mat.
Fighters went wild on social media celebrating the efforts of both men, with former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman singling the winner out, writing, “Holy shit, Jiri is a madman.”
Michael Chandler added, “Jiri vs. Rountree is why we love this sport. Anyone can turn the tide. What. A. Fight.”
