Chargers fans at one point probably thought that the 2024 season would be the only year with Jesse Minter as defensive coordinator after he led the Bolts to the league’s top scoring defense. However, wound up sticking with Los Angeles for one more season, but it looks like that may end up being all she wrote with him calling the Chargers defense.
Following the team’s 16-3 loss to the Patriots in the wild card round, the interest in Minter has only ramped up given that now he can take part in virtual
interviews. Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Minter has received head coaching interview requests from the Raiders, Titans, Ravens, and Browns.
These reported interviews won’t be the only ones Minter receives and it sure seems like the writing is on the wall regarding his remaining time in Los Angeles. Minter deserves everything he’s likely to get over the coming weeks and I for one am truly thankful for his time in LA.
